Inge Frederick
Inge Frederick is proud to serve as Principal of Lecanto Middle School, where she is currently in her ninth year of leadership and celebrating her 35th year in education. Her career includes 13 years as a classroom teacher, teaching second, fourth, and fifth grades, as well as seventh- and eighth-grade English Language Arts. She later served as Assistant Principal at Crystal River Middle School for 10 years before becoming its principal for three years.
A lifelong member of the Citrus County community, Mrs. Frederick is a proud 1987 graduate of Crystal River High School. Her family's ties to Citrus County Schools run deep. She and her husband have six children who graduated from Crystal River High School, a grandson who graduated from Lecanto High School, and a granddaughter currently attending Crystal River High School.
Mrs. Frederick's connection to Lecanto Middle School is particularly meaningful. In 1981, she attended LMS as a seventh grader during the school's inaugural year. Today, she considers it a privilege to lead the very school where she was once a student, continuing her commitment to providing meaningful opportunities and a positive educational experience for every Panther.
