Dear Panther Families,

At Lecanto Middle School, we believe that consistent attendance is one of the most important factors in student success—both academically and socially. When students are present and engaged each day, they strengthen their learning, build meaningful relationships, and develop positive habits that will serve them well throughout their lives.

To celebrate and encourage excellent attendance, we’re excited to introduce our Perfect Weekly Attendance Reward Program! 

Each Friday, all students who have:
 ✅ Been present every day during the week
 ✅ Arrived on time each day
 ✅ Stayed for the full school day

…will be entered into a weekly drawing! Twenty lucky Panthers will be selected to receive a special treat delivered during 6th period from the Purple Pumpkin Cart! 

We understand that sometimes absences are unavoidable due to illness or appointments. When your child must miss school, please send a written note so the absence can be excused. The school accepts up to 10 parent notes per year. For any medical appointments, it’s always helpful to bring a doctor’s excuse if one is available.
